About Parth Adhia

Hi, I'm Parth.

I'm a GPU architect and systems engineer based in Austin, Texas. My professional work lives close to the boundary between hardware and software: architecture, modeling, performance, and figuring out why complicated systems behave the way they do.

I earned my master's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech and currently work at Arm.

But engineering is also what I tend to do when nobody is paying me to do it.

I build software products, maintain a home server and networking stack, experiment with AI development workflows, automate pieces of my life, and routinely turn "I wonder if this would work..." into a weekend project that becomes substantially larger than a weekend project.

One of those projects is RentMochi, an intelligent operating layer for rental properties. Another is Indic TTS Lexicon, an open-source pronunciation layer aimed at helping text-to-speech systems handle Indian-language words more naturally.

I'm particularly interested in systems where the boundaries blur: hardware and software, local infrastructure and cloud services, humans and AI tools, physical devices and web applications.

Away from engineering, I'm into consumer technology, gaming, home theater, good food, and understanding far too much about whatever piece of hardware I happen to be buying that week.

This site is where all of those threads meet.

Things I tend to care about

Systems
I like understanding the entire path from the thing a person touches down to the infrastructure making it work.
Building
A recurring pattern in my life is seeing an annoying problem, deciding software should solve it, and then discovering exactly why nobody had solved it quite that way before.
Homelabs
Some people relax by not thinking about DNS. I apparently chose a different path.
AI
I'm interested less in AI as a chatbot and more in what happens when models become collaborators inside real engineering workflows.
Technology
PC hardware, displays, networks, handheld gaming systems, home theater, servers — basically anything that can produce a comparison spreadsheet before I buy it.

GPU architect, builder, and occasionally a person in constant search of umami.
